Walk-in/Skype interview for Indian Nationals to work as Project Assistant/Fellow in a Bioinformatics project funded by the DST

Post : Project Assistant/Fellow
Title: Functional and trans-regulatory constraints of long-range spatial cross-talk among genes
Number of Positions: 1
Duration: One year (extendable to further 2 years after review)
Essential Qualifications : Masters degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Statistics/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Life science with at-least 60% aggregate marks OR B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer science/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology with at-least 60% aggregate marks. Basic computer programming skill and inclination towards computational biology is desirable, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities : Along with a team of students, the selected candidate will work on large genomic and epigenomic datasets to address questions pertaining to genome organization and regulation thereof.
Emoluments: As per DST guidelines.

- Programming Languages known and extent of proficiency/experience,
