Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow in the following project funded by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)
Title : Co-treatment of domestic septage and municipal solid waste landfill leachate using drythermophilic anaerobic digestion for the production of bioenergy and biofertilizer
Principal Investigator : Prof. P. Sankar Ganesh, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences
Duration : 2 years (Extendable)
Position Available : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Positions Available : ONE
Essential Qualifications :
Candidate must satisfy at least ONE of the following criteria:
- ME/ MTech in Environmental Engineering/ Bioprocess Technology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology
- MPhil in Biotechnology or Environmental Science or Life Sciences
- MSc in Biotechnology or Environmental Science or Life Sciences
Desirable Qualifications :
- Passed CSIR or UGC JRF
- Outstanding skill set and hands-on experience in anaerobic digestion of organic wastes
Fellowship : Consolidated Rs. 25,000/ month
