Brief Description about the Project:
- This project is aimed at identifying mechanism of miRNA incorporation in exosomes using targeted screen for proteins involved in endocytosis and MVB-biogenesis. Role of MVB-cargo proteins (especially Sonic Hedgehog) in miRNA incorporation will also be probed. miRNA labelling and high/super-high resolution microscopy will be used to directly address this issue using human cell lines.
