Job Overview:
The Trainee Officer Job is based at Lupin’s Pune Biotech facility and focuses on upstream production activities. The role involves executing production batches, operating critical bioprocess equipment, maintaining documentation as per cGMP standards, supporting technology transfer, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality systems.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology
Experience: 0 to 3 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute upstream production batches as per approved BPR
- Operate fermenters and related upstream equipment
- Perform CIP/SIP activities as per SOP
- Prepare and maintain SOP documentation
- Raise change controls and deviations with QA
- Assist in technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
- Coordinate with engineering for maintenance activities
- Ensure cGMP compliance and workplace safety
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of fermentation and protein purification
- Understanding of upstream bioprocess operations
- cGMP documentation and SOP handling
- Equipment operation and process monitoring
