- Position Title: Project Associate I (One position)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Project Title: Developing abiotic stress-tolerant high-yielding ‘STuRDY’ rice in mega variety Swarna through genome editing.
- Principal Investigator: Prof. Ashwani Pareek, Executive Director, BRIC-NABI
- Duration: One Year, extendable on an annual basis for subsequent years, subject to satisfactory performance
progress. - Age limit: 28 Years as on the date of the interview.
Educational Requirements
- Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology with selection through:
- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship.
- GATE Examination.
- National-level examinations conducted by Government Departments and Agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Emoluments: – The Project Associate I will be hired with the emoluments:
- Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA (For NET and GATE qualified candidates) and
- Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA (For Non-NET/GATE qualified candidates)
