1. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – 01 Post
- Post Code & Subject Area: ETD-3, Marine Sciences.
- Location: Industrial Estate PO, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram-695019
- Qualification: M.Sc / MFSc in Marine Biology / Aquatic Biology / Fisheries from a recognized University or Equivalent.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA.
- Age Limit: 35 Years
2. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – 02 Posts
- Post Code & Subject Area: BBD-I, Membrane Biology / Biophysics
- Location: Industrial Estate PO, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram-695019
- Qualification: M.Sc in Biotechnology or Life Science from a recognized University or Equivalent.
- Desirable: Candidates with MSc in Life Science areas are preferred.
- Monthly Stipend:
- Rs.31,000/- + 20% HRA for those who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship / assistant professorship OR GATE qualified. OR those who have qualified National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and / or their agencies/ Institutions.
- Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA for others who do not fulfill the above.
- Age Limit: 35 Years
How to Apply?

Mode of Selection
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for an ONLINE INTERVIEW. The date and time of the online interview will be notified on the website in due course.
- Interim enquiries will not be attended to.
Instructions
- In the case of Universities/Institute awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades, candidates are requested to convert the same into percentage based on the formula as per their university/institute.
- Candidates have to upload scanned copies of all certificates including educational qualification, experience, age, and community. Incomplete applications will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
- Persons with disabilities (PwD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions prescribed under GOI instructions are encouraged to apply.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped and female candidates applicable as per GOI/CSIR Rules. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualification, and experience will be the closing date of the online application i.e. 22-06-2026.
- The above posts are tenable till the duration of the project.
- Candidates should submit separate applications for each post indicating the Post Code. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. Bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, shall disqualify the candidates.
- The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its criteria for short-listing candidates. Therefore, candidates should mention all qualifications and experiences in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification supported with documents.
