Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- M.Sc. / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or any relevant Life Sciences discipline
- Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have qualified national-level examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, GATE, etc.
- Possess experience in bacterial cultivation, identification and characterization, microbial consortia development, metagenomics, and molecular biology techniques including LC-MS/GC-MS
- Demonstrate proficiency in scientific writing
Fellowship
Rs. 36,000/- per month (inclusive of HRA) for candidates qualified in NET/GATE or other national-level examinations, as per GSBTM, DST, Government of Gujarat guidelines
OR
Rs. 23,213/- fixed per month for candidates who have not qualified national-level examinations such as NET/GATE, as per GSBTM, DST, Government of Gujarat guidelines
