About the Role
The Jr. Research Associate will support laboratory operations by performing sample preparation, assisting in analytical and microbiological testing, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires adherence to SOPs, data integrity standards, and collaboration with senior analysts to ensure smooth execution of research activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic sample preparation activities under supervision
- Prepare solutions, reagents, standards, and QC samples
- Carry out dilutions, weighing, and spiking as per approved SOPs
- Assist in biological sample processing (protein precipitation, LLE, SPE)
- Record all laboratory activities in worksheets, raw data sheets, and logbooks accurately
- Follow ALCOA+ data integrity principles
- Assist in compiling study files and documentation for review
- Support senior analysts and instrument operators during routine lab work
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and laboratory equipment
- Assist in reagent preparation, inventory management, and sample storage
Qualification
B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences with 1+ year of Experience
Salary
Depending on previous CTC, hike aligned to experience and industry standards.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of sample preparation techniques
- Knowledge of analytical and bioanalytical procedures
- Familiarity with ALCOA+ and data integrity practices
- Basic exposure to biological sample processing techniques (LLE, SPE, etc.)
- Understanding of SOP adherence and documentation practices
