Key Responsibilities:
We are urgently looking for an experienced Microbiologist to join our Water Plant Quality Control & Assurance Team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with FSSAI and BIS standards.
Requirements:
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry (mandatory)
• Years of proven experience in microbiological testing for food/beverage/water industry
• Strong knowledge of IS 14543 Packaged Drinking Water Standards
• Hands-on experience in water quality testing (TPC, Coliform, Yeast & Mould, Pathogen Analysis, etc.)
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO procedures
• Ability to prepare, maintain, and document laboratory records accurately
• Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine microbiological analysis of raw water, treated water, and finished products
• Perform environmental monitoring of production and storage areas
• Validate and maintain aseptic sampling/testing methods
• Ensure compliance with BIS, FSSAI, and other statutory norms
• Investigate quality deviations and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain laboratory instruments, consumables, and hygiene protocols
• Coordinate with Plant Manager and QA Head for quality assurance reports
