Applications are invited from eligible candidates through e-mail for the NHRP (National Health Research Priority) study entitled “Upgrading Norms for Growth and Development Assessment for Indian Children (UNNATI)” funded by ICMR on a temporary contract basis in INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH.
These posts require extensive travel in different areas of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to conduct the study. Applications will be received from individuals by email to [email protected] and [email protected] up to 21st March 2025. Applications received after the due date will not be considered under any circumstances.
Candidates have to download the application form from www.nin.res.in, fill it in their own handwriting, and send the same to the above mail along with supporting documents of essential qualifications (scanned copies).
Selection Procedure:
The applications will be shortlisted for the interview based on the decision of the Screening Committee after the verification of applications as per project requirements. Interviews will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates online (Video Call/ Video-Conferencing) to select a suitable candidate at a later course. The Zoom link will be shared with the shortlisted candidates to attend the online interview. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video-Conferencing facilities for Online Interviews.

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Public Health Nutrition, Anthropology, Clinical Psychology OR related disciplines from a recognized university
Terms and Conditions:
- The number of posts may vary according to the project requirement.
- The above posts are on a temporary basis.
- The tenure of the posts is one year and extendable based on performance.
- The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason(s), and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
- Age, qualifications, etc., will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Presently serving or previously served ICMR-Project employees who have completed three years of project service are not eligible to appear for the walk-in interview. The maximum term of any project position in any or multiple projects, with or without breaks, shall be three years only.
- Any project staff of ICMR Hqrs/Institutes/Centers of ICMR willing to apply shall have to obtain a prior No Objection Certificate from the Principal Investigator in which the applicant is working and shall enclose the same with the application.
- Since the posts are temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at ICMR-NIN or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
- At the time of joining duty, candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience, Aadhaar Card, passport-size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) for verification.
- The terms and conditions of employment will be the same as those in the ICMR guidelines for project positions.
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
- The competent authority, ICMR-NIN, reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies, cancel the recruitment process, or re-advertise the positions without prior notice. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Incomplete applications, applications without photographs, or applications lacking copies of relevant certificates will not be considered. No further correspondence regarding incomplete applications will be entertained.
