Bose Institute is going to conduct a summer internship program to offer short-term training to outstanding students in Physical, Chemical, and Biological Sciences from various Institutes/Universities from April to August 2025 for a period of 6-12 weeks. The training will be conducted by faculty members, selecting students based on their academic interests and merit. Tentatively, 40 students will be selected for the internship program.
Eligibility:
Students pursuing Master’s degrees (MSc, MTech, Integrated Masters, etc.) may apply. Exceptional students who have INSPIRE, JBNSTS, KVPY, NTSE, etc. awards and are at the Bachelor’s degree level in their final year may also apply.
Minimum eligibility criteria for consideration:
- At least 75% scores (or an equivalent grade) in all major school-level examinations [Secondary school examination (10+) and higher secondary examination (10+2)].
- First division marks (60% in aggregate or equivalent grade) in the Bachelor’s program.
- Students who have completed their Master’s degree and/or are not enrolled in any such degree program are not eligible for this training.
Applications must include a recommendation/forwarding letter from the Head of the Department/Institution or Registrar/Dean of the University/Institute/College of the candidate in the prescribed format attached.
Candidates should apply online only (click here to apply) and attach a scanned copy of the recommendation/forwarding letter. Original certificates, mark sheets, recommendation letter, and identity proof should be presented at the time of joining the training program.
Important Notes:
- Bose Institute will not offer any fellowship or accommodation for the program.
- Communications regarding fellowships/accommodation will not be entertained.
- Entry of misleading data in the application form will lead to rejection.
Tentative Timeline of the Program:
- Deadline for application: March 20, 2025
- Announcement of selected candidates: April 1-10, 2025 (Tentative)
- Summer training duration: 6-12 weeks, anytime during April 15 – August 14, 2025
