About the Role
Scientific Reports is a primary research journal from the publishers of Nature, covering all areas of the natural sciences, psychology, medicine, and engineering. As an Associate Editor, you will support the Chief Editor and Deputy Editors of Scientific Reports in managing the Editorial Board and editorial decision-making processes across the journal. This is a full-time position based in our Pune office on a hybrid working basis.
Responsibilities
- Community outreach to Editorial Board Members and potential authors
- Assist in managing journal workflow and peer-review processes
- Contribute to content development and subject-specific collections
- Establish and maintain relationships with Editorial Board Members
- Resolve publication issues and contribute to policy development
- Sign-off social media and marketing content
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications for Associate Editor – Scientific Reports Job
- PhD-level research experience in any life science discipline
- Thorough understanding of the scientific research community
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, achievement-oriented, and a team player
- Willingness to travel
