The APJ Purification (PUR) Staff Scientist harmonizes with the global Go-To-Market vision by ensuring regional alignment with PUR business unit (BU) metrics. A successful candidate plays a leading role in developing APJ-wide FAS processes and toolboxes that improve regional expertise and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Engagement:
- Complement local PUR FAS pre-and post-sales support activities
- Support on resolving product complaints
- Champion Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives
Capability Development:
- Identify and address regional technical training needs
- Build Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOG) networks
Drive Collaborations:
- Develop and sustain alignments across BUs, functions, and regions
- External participation in technical conferences and industry forums
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering)
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Downstream Purification
- Deep knowledge of downstream process development, scale-up, and cGMP production workflows
- Strong English communicator with cross-cultural influencing skills in the Asia Pacific region
