Positions Available under the Bomlife Pvt. Ltd. Sponsored Project

Applications are invited from interested eligible candidates for the position of One (01) Project Assistant under a project entitled “Evaluation of package of practices of bio-fertilizer, biostimulant, and bio-control agents in tea” sponsored by Bomlife Pvt. Ltd. at Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, Jorhat, Assam – 785 008 as per the following details. The appointments will be purely on a temporary basis for 2 years, and hence the Institute will not provide any employment after the completion of the project.

Position: Project Assistant

Upper Age Limit: 30 years

No. of Post: 1 (One)

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Microbiology / Soils / Life Sciences

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 15,000 per Month (Fixed)

Job Responsibility: Project-related research works. The candidates will have the responsibility of extensive field and laboratory work.

Project Duration: 2 years only

General Instructions:

1. The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
2. Walk-in interview will be conducted for the selection of candidates on 11th February, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Neem Them Hall, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, TRA, Jorhat.
3. While coming for the interview, candidates should bring the filled-in application form along with the required documents (photocopies of testimonials of qualifications, mark sheets, experience, date of birth, etc.) along with originals for verification.
4. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be provided for attending the interview.
5. All other terms and conditions of appointment will be governed by the prevailing Institute’s rules, and the decision of the Chairman of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
6. Selected candidates need to join immediately or at very short notice.
7. The Director, Tea Research Association, Tocklai Tea Research Institute reserves all rights of selection or rejection of a candidature, including cancellation of the interview, without assigning any reason thereof.
