Online Interview
Applications are invited for filling the following contractual positions under the projects:
- National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)
- South Asian Agriculture Adaptation Atlas: Interconnection between Climate Risk, Practices (ACASA)

- After screening, eligible candidates will be called by email for the online interview scheduled tentatively on 1st December 2024.
- Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates are requested to specify the S.No of post(s) applied for as per this advertisement. One application is sufficient for multiple posts with similar qualifications.

Desirable: Experience in Agricultural Microbiology/Biochemistry projects, specifically in the field of biofertilizer delivery system, equipment such as fermenter, HPLC, electrophoresis, and good knowledge of statistical tools. |
As per ICAR/IARI OM F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated July 1, 2015.
- Those currently employed must bring a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
Terms & Conditions:
- Age Limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 45 years for YP-II. (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women, 3 years for OBC).
- Contract Basis: The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis.
- No Regular Appointment Claim: The selected candidate shall not claim a regular appointment at this Institute or any ICAR Institutes as the post is co-terminus with the project.
- Online Interview: Details of the online interview will be communicated to eligible candidates by email.
- Reporting Time: Reporting time for the online interview will be communicated, and all candidates shall adhere to the instructions.
- Application Form: Candidates must complete the application form (as per the format annexed). All self-attested scanned certificates from X class onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, bachelor’s and master’s degree certificates, or provisional certificate and a recent photograph must be enclosed. Proof of experience and publications must also be sent by email by 24th November 2024.
- Original Documents: Selected candidates must produce all original documents and a medical certificate at the time of joining.
- Document Submission Failure: Non-submission of the required documents along with the application will lead to rejection of the application.
- No TA/DA: No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
- Interview Arrangements: Candidates are responsible for making arrangements to attend the online interview.
- Essential Qualifications: Only candidates with the required essential qualifications will be considered for the interview.
- Concealing of Facts: Concealing facts or canvassing will lead to disqualification or termination.
- Declaration of Relatives: Candidates attending the interview must declare if any of their relatives are employees of ICAR/IARI by 24th November 2024. Candidates failing to disclose this information will be disqualified from the interview.
- Rights Reserved: The Director, ICAR-IARI, reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview or specific posts without assigning any reason.
- Termination Right: The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract before the project’s completion without appeal.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.
