DBT SKILL VIGYAN PROGRAM GUJARAT
The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has sanctioned the DBT Skill Vigyan program in biotechnology and Life Sciences, which will be executed in Gujarat through the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM) for 3 years. GSBTM is collaborating with six state academic institutions to provide student training programs.
The student training program will offer a three-month, hands-on, stipendary training experience to individuals at the entry level, including Plus 2 students, graduates, and postgraduates, specializing in various biotechnology fields. The curriculum for this program is in alignment with the Qualification Packages (QPs) established by the sector skill councils, tailored to meet industry requirements.
Introduction:
The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, in collaboration with the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), is pleased to announce the DBT Skill Vigyan program. This initiative aims to enhance skills and knowledge in biotechnology and life sciences. The program is executed in Gujarat, with the participation of 6 state academic institutions.
Training Program: Student Training
Duration: Three months
Target Participants: Graduates and postgraduates (varies with the course)
Focus Areas: Biotechnology
and allied areasTraining Experience: Hands-on and stipendiary
Eligibility Criteria: The program is open to graduates and postgraduates in biotechnology and allied subjects. Kindly refer to the table for detailed eligibility information.
Application Form: Interested candidates are required to fill out the online application form.
Selection Process: Centralized Entrance test
Stipend and Financial Details: The stipend varies with the course. Please refer to the specific course details for information on the stipend offered.

Duration: Three months
