Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist -I on a contract basis in the ICMR, New Delhi-funded research project titled “Designing and implementation of health care model in patients with stage 2 breast cancer”.

Essential Qualification:
- 1st class Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences.
- Good Command of English Speaking, Reading & Writing.
Desirable Experience: Good command of English speaking, reading, and writing with a minimum of 1-year research experience in the field of cancer research.
Pay/month (Approx.): Rs. 66,080/pm [Rs.56,000/+18% HRA]
Age limit/post: Up to 35 years

How to Apply:
Candidates are required to submit the duly filled application (Annexure-I) with a photograph as a hard copy in the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, Ground floor, Room no 54, Nehru Hospital Extension, PGIMER, Sector 12, Chandigarh by 20.03.2024 (until 4 PM). If the number of candidates exceeds 20, then a written test will be conducted on 26.03.2024 at the venue. Time and date for the same will be informed to the candidates by mail.
Valid e-mail ID (Clear and Readable) and mobile number are compulsory. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail to attend the interview.

Important Notes:
- Qualification and experience should be in a relevant discipline/field and from an institute of reputation. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
- Upper age relaxation for SC/ST up to 5 years and OBC up to 3 years.
- The posts are purely contractual, and no claim for any other regular post in PGIMER shall be entertained.
- Application form duly filled and signed along with a photocopy of all relevant certificates including experience along with one set of self-attested copies should be submitted on or before 20th March 2024, before 4 PM.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
- If the appointee’s performance is not found satisfactory by the investigator, the appointment can be terminated at any time without any notice.
- The appointee may be relieved from the current job position, with one-month prior notice, failing to do so may be held responsible for paying one month’s salary.
