TRAINEE RESEARCH ASSOCIATE – DISCOVERY BIOLOGY
Jubilant Biosys is hiring for Trainee Research Associate in Discovery Biology at Bangalore location.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Application of Cell/ Molecular Biology.
- Compound screening in cell-based and biochemical assays.
- Developing and validating biological assays to support projects, mechanism of action work, new model development. Standardization of assays.
- Developing and validating in vitro assays for testing and identifying compounds active against a variety of targets.
- Compound preparation and screening in vitro assays. Troubleshooting of assays.
- Engineering stable cell lines expressing desired target proteins for cell-based assays.
- Contributing to the Internal Target Database to aid in the selection of drug discovery targets.
- Data generation, analysis, compilation, report preparation. Regular uploading of the data.
- Exploring scientific journals to find new ways/techniques to develop the assays in a robust and reproducible manner.
- Working in a team environment to set up the assays at a faster pace.
Education: M.Sc (Life Sciences)
