Applications are invited only from Indian citizens for the following purely project-based temporary position at Botanical Survey of India, Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre, Itanagar 791111, Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to send their complete application in the prescribed format with xerox copies of all supporting documents (i.e., educational, experience, etc.) to the undersigned on email at [email protected] on or before 06.03.2024. It is essential to mention the name of the project and position applied in the subject area of mail sent by the candidate. Application in the prescribed format will only be accepted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview to be held on 08.03.2024. The interview will be held through physical modes. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.

Essential: BSc in Botany/Life science/Plant Science
Desirable:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of computers
Responsibility:
- Primary data collection and field survey
- Documentation and presentations
- Report writing
Fellowship: 20,000 + HRA (9%)
Age: As on 01/02/2024 – 28 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

General instructions:
- Candidates must bring all original documents pertaining to their educational qualifications & experience along with one set of photocopies and two colored photographs. Experience should clearly specify the time duration, place of work, and the position held.
- The selected candidate is expected to join immediately (within 12 days).
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
- The institute reserves the right to disengage the manpower at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
- The engagement is purely temporary in nature.
- In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the institute in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of applications, mode of selection, and the conduct of examination/interview will be final, and no query or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
