JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – I (JRF-I)
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow -I for the Department of
Biotechnology [DBT], Govt. of India funded project titled “Elucidation of early cardiac valve
malformations in Turner Syndrome using iPSC models” [BT/PR41921/MED/97/544/2021] at
Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine (MIRM), MAHE – Bangalore Campus,
Yelahanka, Bangalore, 560065.
Qualification:
- M. Sc. in life science stream with minimum 70% marks
- Applicants with skills in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture & stem cell
biology will be preferred. - Candidates should be able to work independently, analyze regular data, carry out
literature surveys and contribute to the projects intellectually. They must have good
organizational skills, be able to coordinate with other lab members and maintain good
laboratory practices at work. - They will be responsible for data documentation, validation and compilation and
preparation of manuscripts for the above project.
Duration: Initially for one year. Extendable on review of performance/need basis/availability of
funding.
Remuneration: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 31,000 per month
