As part of our research initiatives, we are inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology.
Position: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)
Number of posts: 01
Research Project: “Identification of DNA markers associated with nutrients and protein contents in pigmented (black and red) rice for better management of germplasm.”
Sponsoring Agency: Council of Science & Technology (CST), UP
Duration of the position: 3 years
Fellowship / Monthly Compensation: Rs.25,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. (Ag.)/ M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Botany/Life Sciences/Plant Sciences/M Pharm/Bachelor of Eng./Technology (B.E./B. Tech.) or equivalent degree
- High academic attainment with 1st class in both graduate and postgraduate examinations
- Preferably with experience in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry and Bioinformatics
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for a Junior Research Assistant shall be 28 years as on 1st of April, 2023.
General Conditions:
- Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
- Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
