Key Responsibilities:

  • Diversey consulting is a Food safety consulting and audit vertical at Diversey India Hygiene Pvt Ltd which helps to our customer to improve food safety, enhance quality, improve profitability and protect their brand.
  • Act as an auditor in multiple standard (i.e. FSSC 2200, ISO 22000, Quality management system standard.
  • Key account management, scheduling of audit program as per agreed timelines, review and vetting of audit reports, service delivery as per agreed SLA.
  • Design, implement and deliver FSMS program along with GMP and HACCP requirements.
  • Support in the training of other auditors during planned audits or during other training functions
  • Support Sales presentations of food services and technical advice to those sale function whenever needed to build new business.
  • The role would involve extensive travel to different parts of India and also some overseas locations based on client requirements.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time, possible weekend travel.

Required Education/ Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, B.Tech in food technology.

Additional Certifications in ISO (9001, 18000, 22000), FSSC 22000 lead auditor, FSSAI (Hygiene auditor, Fostac), ServSafe, CIEH and other relevant industry certifications is a must.

Required Experience:

At least 5 years of work experience in the food industry managing Food Safety, Food Processing, Quality Assurance, and Implementation of FSMS and FS Audits.

Prefer to have 2 years of work experience in quality assurance function or food safety management system coordination.

Should have a collaborative team player, customer-centric, professional communication skills, action-oriented and driven for results.

  3. How do you manage key accounts and ensure that audit programs are scheduled and delivered as per agreed timelines? Answer: To manage key accounts, I first establish a clear communication plan and work closely with the client to understand their needs and expectations. I then create a detailed audit program that outlines the scope of the audit, timelines, and deliverables. Throughout the audit, I maintain regular communication with the client and provide progress updates to ensure that the audit is delivered as per agreed timelines.
  4. Can you provide an example of a challenging situation you encountered during an audit and how you resolved it? Answer: During an audit, I once encountered a situation where the client was not meeting the requirements of the standard being audited. I first communicated the issue to the client and provided guidance on how they could improve their compliance. I then worked with the client to develop an action plan and conducted follow-up audits to ensure that the required improvements were made.
  5. How do you ensure that the audit reports are reviewed and vetted effectively? Answer: To ensure that audit reports are reviewed and vetted effectively, I first ensure that the report is complete, accurate, and objective. I then review the report with the auditee to ensure that any factual inaccuracies are corrected. Finally, I ensure that the report is reviewed by a senior member of the team to provide an additional layer of quality control.
