Applications are invited for a contractual position of Junior Research Fellow under GSBTM, DST sponsored project titled “Development of advanced biofuels and bio-lubricants from high lipid producing microalgal strain through HTL and Co-HTL process”. The position is available in Bio-conversion Technology Division, SPRERI initially for a period of 11 months, which may be extended till project co-terminates.

Essential Qualifications: M. Tech in Biotechnology/Bio-chemical/Chemical Engineering or M. Sc. with first class in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry with qualified NET/GATE score or any National level examination from CSIR/UGC/DBT/DST/ICAR.
Desirable
: Candidates having experience in large-scale algal cultivation systems and downstream processing at semi-pilot and pilot scales (Photo-bioreactors and Raceway ponds) along with extraction and characterization of bio-molecules (lipids) will be preferred. He/she should be able to work in a diverse team of researchers and perform tasks independently within a stipulated time period.Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (consolidated & based on eligibility)
