Advertisement for the post of Technical officer and Lab Technician
Applications are invited for the post of Technical officer and Lab Technician to actively work on the project entitled “To develop novel antiviral platforms and identify drug against henipaviruses like Nipah and hendra” funded by an International funding agency Good Venture foundation in association with Open Philanthropy at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with project.

Age Limit: Up to 35 years on the closing date of the advertisement
Project Duration: Till the end of the project: 2.0 years (subject to satisfactory performance)
Department: Medical Biotechnology
Monthly Emoluments: INR 60000 consolidated
Qualification and experience
:MSc in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university with at least 4 years of research experience in Academia or in Industry
OR
PhD in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university
Experience in:
Drug Discovery/ Diagnostic assay development/ MolecularBiology/Protein Purification/ Aptamer technology/
and
Project report preparation and Laboratory management skills.

Experience in: Autoclaving, Media prepration, PCR and other routine laboratory work
