Online Applications are invited on or before 14th October 2022 for the following vacancy under the Non-Institutional ad-hoc project to be filled at Spectrum Clinic & Endoscopy Research Center, Kolkata, West Bengal. Place of Posting: Spectrum Clinic & Endoscopy Research Center, Shakespear Sarami, Kolkata, West Bengal under Dr. Pramathes DasMahapatra, Collaborator ECGRI study. The project Assistant

will have to also work under Dr Arnab Basak, Senior Consultant Gynaecologist and Minimal Access Pelvic Surgeon Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Kolkata, Collaborator ECGRI study.

Duration – One year (To be extended for an additional one year)

Age Limit – 30 years

Application Instructions –

1. Age relaxation for SC/ST /OBC/PWD Candidates will be as per the government rules.
2. Qualification/degree ought to be from a reputable Institution/University.

6. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organization are not eligible.
7. Written tests in the subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist candidates for the interview on the same day depending upon the number of candidates.
8. It may be mentioned here that incomplete applications, applications not submitted in the prescribed format and applications without supportive documents asked for shall be summarily rejected.
9. The Director & appointing authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.

11. If the candidate is not eligible, his / her candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and subsequently, it is found that he / she does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, his / her candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, services so obtained will be terminated without any notice or compensation.

Stipend – Rs. 20,000/- + 24% HRA p.m.

Essential Qualification – Graduate in Science/relevant subjects from a recognized University with three years work experience in a recognized Institution
or
Master’s degree in biological sciences.

Desirable Qualification –

• One year of research experience from a reputed institute/university.
• Experience in counselling patients, working experience in Hospital/Clinic.
• Proficiency in internet applications & communication skills.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
• Candidates residing in Kolkata and nearby areas will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To assist the Collaborator in the preparation of all necessary documents required for the Ethics Committee, progress reports etc. under the supervision of the Collaborator at the participating study site.
2. Coordination of project activities and implementation of the project at participating study sites.
3. To assist the Collaborator in the recruitment of study participants, data collection, data entry, quality control etc.
4. To conduct the experimental wok of the study including blood separation, labelling and monitoring of the storage of clinical samples.
5. To assist collaborators in timely transportation of copies of data collection instruments, timely entry of data into electronic database and transportation of samples to ICMR-NIRRCH, Mumbai by designated courier company.
6. Participate in video/telephone meetings with PI, Collaborators abroad and the Research team at all participating study sites to review the progress and ensure adherence to protocol.
7. To provide regular compliance to the Research team at PI laboratory at ICMR-NIRRH for maintaining the centralized clinical and genomic database at ICMR-NIRRCH, Mumbai.
8. To assist in any other works related to the project or other scientific/technical activities.
