Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-specialty institute of excellence under Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The vision of ILBS is to be a global leader by becoming a beacon of patient care, teaching and research in the field of Liver and Biliary diseases and allied disciplines. The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
The institute is inviting applications for the entrance examination for Ph.D courses for the academic session starting from 01st July 2022, as per the details given below

10# | 1) NET qualified candidates Applicants who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF need to appear for a Direct Interview.(2) Non-NET candidates- written test followed by interview/Departmental Assessment. (Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences Zoology, Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech. M.Pharma M.V.Sc or other degrees) declared equivalent to Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body. Candidate have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade as per UGC rules. |

Procedure for Admission –
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of all India entrance test. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts as detailed below. Examination Schedule –
- Written Examination – 22.05.2022 (Sunday)
- Departmental Assessment – 23.05.2022 (Monday)
