Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences plus two years of research experience in Virology/Immunology.

Job Description: The selected candidate is expected to work on cutting-edge virus immunology to explore the immunological signature of long-term protective immunity acquired in natural infection versus vaccination. The work is developing under a bilateral program between India and the USA. Most of the work will utilize PBMCs and serum as the sample from individuals enrolled under the proposed study. Interested candidates should have demonstrated skills in virology research. Hands-on experience in handling viruses, virus propagation and titration, Cell culture, antibody analyses, PBMC handling, cellular immunology and FACS is essential. Candidates with proven experience in clinical virology research will be preferred.

Emoluments: Rs. 49,000 pm plus 24 percent HRA
