Start of Registration Process for DUET-2021.

The National Testing Agency is pleased to announce the conduct of the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET-2021).

The registration portal of the University of Delhi will start as per the schedule mentioned below:

Undergraduate Admissions 2021

Eligibility Criteria of B.Sc. Programs

B.Sc.(Prog.) Applied Life Science

 

B.Sc.(Prog.)  Life Science

 

●        45% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry (Practical & Theory together) and passing in one compulsory language (i.e., English).

OR

●        45% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry and 40% in one compulsory language.

●        Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.

 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. (Honours) Undergraduate Programs
Merit-Based Admissions

B.Sc. (Hons.) Biological Sciences

B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany

B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology

B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology

 

●        55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry (Practical & Theory together) and 50% or more marks in one compulsory language i.e. English.

●        Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry.

 

B.Sc.(Hons.) Food Technology ●        55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry (Practical & Theory together) and 50% in English as a compulsory language

●        Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology /Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.

●        Applicants who have studied both Mathematics and Biology at qualifying exams will be given 3% relaxation.

 

B.Sc.(Hons.) Biochemistry ●        55% or more marks in the aggregate of Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology/Biochemistry and Physics / Mathematics (Practical & Theory together) and passing in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

       OR

●        55% or more marks in the aggregate of Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry and Physics/ Mathematics (Practical & Theory together) and 50% in one compulsory language.

●        Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry and Physics/Mathematics.

 

B.Sc.(Hons.)

Biomedical Science

●        55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with 50% or more marks in compulsory language, i.e., English.

●        Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.

●        Applicants with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry who scored 60% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be given an advantage of 3% over and above their Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry aggregate.

 

B.Sc. (Hons.) Environmental Science ·         55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Mathematics (Practical & Theory combined); and 50% or more marks in one compulsory language, i.e., English.

·         Merit will be calculated based on the aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Mathematics

UNIVERSITY OF DELHI DU-POST GRADUATE ADMISSION 2021

  • An eligible applicant desirous to seek admission to Postgraduate Programme(s) of the University of Delhi for the academic session 2021-22 must read the contents of the Bulletin of Information carefully.
  • Changes made in any programme after the release of the Bulletin shall become effective from the date it is posted on the Postgraduate (PG) Admission Portal.
  • University reserves the right to revise, amend, update, or delete any part of this Bulletin without giving any prior notice. Any change so made shall be updated on the PG Admission Portal.
  • Applicants are responsible for regularly checking the portal for any updates and grievances resulting from lack of reading / consulting this bulletin will not be entertained.
  • For Each Programme, a separate Application Form needs to be submitted.
  • Only a single candidate can apply from a registration
    1. His/Her Passport size photograph, max size 50KB and dimensions 100px (min. width) X 130px (min. height)
    2 His/Her Scanned Signature, max size 50KB and dimensions 140px (min. width) X 60px (min. height)
    3. A valid ID Proof (Self Attested). This can be any one of the following documents: Aadhaar Card / Voter’s Identity Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License.
    4. Class 10th Certificate (Self Attested) as Date of Birth proof, max size 100KB.
    5. Caste Certificate (Self Attested), max size 100KB.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION FEE FOR ADMISSION TO M.Phil./Ph.D. COURSES (2021-22)

  • An eligible Candidate desirous of seeking admission to M.Phil./Ph.D.Program(s) of the University of Delhi for the academic session 2021-22 must read the contents of this Bulletin of Information carefully. Before filling the application form for online registration, the candidates are advised to also consult the Delhi University Act, 1922 and its Statutes. The Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University of Delhi available on the University website, www.du.ac.in would be binding on them.
  • All the candidates seeking admission to the M.Phil./PhD. Programs are required to register online.
  • The admission of the candidates for M.Phil. /PhD. The program is governed by Ordinance VI and its amendments to the University of Delhi.
  • Changes made in any Program after the release of this Bulletin shall become effective from the date it is posted on M.Phil./Ph.D.AdmissionPortal http://www.du.ac.in.
  • University reserves the right to revise, amend, update, or delete any part of this Bulletin without giving any prior notice. Any change so made shall be updated on the M.Phil./Ph.D. Admission Portal.
  • In case of non-compliance of any of the requirements for admission including non-submission of relevant documents and/or non-payment of Fee within the prescribed date and time, will automatically lead to cancellation of admission without any prior notice in this regard.
  • If at any stage, original documents relating to the admission of a candidate are found to be fake/ non-genuine or fabricated or in any other manner defective, the said candidate will not be admitted; and if already admitted, admission will be cancelled without any prior notice in this regard. If the same is found after the completion of Program, his / her degree will be cancelled and appropriate legal action will be taken against him / her.
  • Candidates are responsible for regularly checking the portal for any updates. Grievances resulting from lack of reading / consulting this Bulletin and Information published/uploaded on the DU website from time to time will not be entertained.
