WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for appointment of Manpower for the project qualified “Determinants Of Excess Alpha Globin Chain- As A Central Modifier Of Phenotypes In Beta Thalassaemia”(BT/PR26345/MED/ 12/799/2017) funded by DBT, Govt. of India [San No. 102/IFD/SAN/ 1292/2019-20 DATED August.92019]

Name of the Position: RA-III

Tenure: One year/ as per the extension sanctioned by the funding agency

How to Apply:

A walk-in-interview will be held on 07.07.2021 (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at the Chamber of Director, IHTM, MC, Kolkata for the following post. Interested and eligible persons may attend the walk-In-Interview with all the original testimonials along with xerox in support of their application. The candidate should report at the Office of IHTM and register their names by 10.00 a.m. on the day of the interview.

Remuneration: Rs. 54,000 plus 24 percent HRA

Essential Qualification:

PhD (in Biology and Relevant Subjects)/ MD/MS/MDS or Equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M. Pharm/ME/M. Tech with a minimum of one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualification: Experienced researcher with research expertise in Molecular Biology, Disease Genomics, DNA sequencing, handling clinical samples Hemoglobinopathies, and Thalassaemia with relevant publication.
