Conditions for NII Vacancy:

1. The candidates chosen for the above posts will be on contract for a single year or length of the project whichever is shorter, at a moment.
2. No hostel/ home centre will be supplied.
3. Applicants may clearly mention the class they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary evidence of exactly the same.
4. No TA/DA is going to be compensated for attending the interview if called for.

Educational Qualification for NII Vacancy:

Applicant ought to have PhD degree in any kind of field of biological sciences as well as at the very least 2 years of post-PhD research experience and also overall of seven years

Desirable Qualification: The candidate needs to preferably have experience of work element related to the project like working under BSL3 virology laboratory and have experience in molecular biology, multi-parameter (greater than 10 parameters) circulation cytometry. The candidate needs to have a proven track record to be able to understand and execute the project, have the ability to discuss the same amongst Indian and EU partners as well as have the ability to liaison with DBT as well as EU. Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the project Investigators based on the suitability of the applicant for the project.

Job Description & Desired Knowledge: The project Scientist will coordinate activities of all the Indian partners as well as EU partners. Project Scientist will certainly communicate with DBT and also EU towards smooth functioning meeting all timely regulatory requirements as well as documents needed by funding agencies. Project scientist will help Dr Panda and Dr Tailor in the overall coordination of work packages (WP) and execution of experiments the of INCENTIVE program at NII.d candidates will certainly draw consolidated emoluments according to Institute Guidelines, depending upon qualifications & experience.

Emoluments: Rs. 78000/- + HRA (The chosen applicants will draw consolidated
emoluments based on DST Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience).
