How to Apply:

1. Candidates meeting the age criteria as well as possessing the required qualifications, experience, etc. and also willing to work for the above-mentioned projects may apply and fill the Application Form in the prescribed format only and also send it to the email ID on or before the last date and also a time of receipt of applications as mentioned above with enclosures. There is no need to send a hard-copy of any application form/documents at this stage.
2. Candidate should type “ Application for the post of……………..” in the subject line while sending their application through e-mail.
3. The list of shortlisted candidates will certainly be displayed on the web site of ICMR-NIREH on 16th March 2021 by 5:00 pm and also these applicants will certainly be called for interview/personal discussion as through Walk-In-Interview/Video Conferencing Interview.
4. Late and incomplete applications or applications not submitted in the prescribed format or without a photo as well as a signature will not be considered.
5. The above position will be filled purely on a short-term CONTRACT appointment basis.
6. The rates of emoluments/stipend shown in this advertisement are as per the guidelines and based on the sanction.
7. Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/OBC, Physically Handicapped candidates, ICMR project employees as well as Ex-Servicemen based on the instructions issued by ICMR from time to time.
8. The cut-off date for the age limit will certainly be the date of Walk-In-Interview/Video Conferencing i.e. 18th March 2021.
9. A separate application ought to be sent for each post. The engagement of the candidate for a particular position will be decided by the selection committee/appointing authority.
10. Qualification & experience ought to be in a pertinent discipline/field and from an Institution of repute. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
11. Mere fulfilling the essential/educational qualification does not guarantee the selection.
12. Persons currently in regular time scale service under any Government Department/ Organizations are not eligible to apply.
13. Submission of wrong or false info during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
14. The candidate may be permitted to register for a PhD as per institutional norms.
15. Contract appointee shall not have any claim on a regular post in this institute or any other ICMR Institute or in any Department of Government of India and their contract service will not confer any right for additionally assignment or transfer to any other project or appointment/absorption in financing agency or in this institute. Benefits of Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, etc. are not admissible. An
    undertaking to that effect should be sent at the time of joining.
16. Initial contract appointment will normally be for a period as specified additional continuation/ extension of the service will depend on the requirement of the Institute, performance evaluation as well as approval of the competent authority on case to case basis.
17. In the event of selection, an applicant should produce all documents or certificates in original relating to (1) Educational qualifications (2) Date of Birth (3) Experience certifications (4) One recent passport size photo (5) Identity proof i.e. Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License etc. (6) One set of self-attested xeroxes of all documents (7) SC/ST/OBC/ Disability Certification, if applicable, for verification at the time of joining the post.
18. Applicants that fail to bring the original certificates at the time of joining and also if any discrepancy is found in the documents such applicants will certainly not be permitted to join the chosen contract post and the position will be offered to the waiting list applicants.
19. The Appointing Authority reserves the right to terminate the service of the contract personnel even during the agreed contract duration or extended contract period without assigning any reason. Leave shall be based on the Institutional policy for contract staff and also ICMR standards in this regard.
20. ICMR-NIREH reserves the right to cancel/modify the recruitment process at any time, during the procedure, at its discretion.
21. The institute reserves rights to take into consideration or reject any application/ candidature. The decision of the Director, ICMR-NIREH will be final and binding.
22. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.

Consolidated Monthly Emolument: Rs.40,600/- per month (Rs.35,000/- plus 16 percent HRA)

Qualifications:

1. Postgraduate degree in basic sciences or graduate/post-graduate degree in the professional courses chosen via any one of the following:Scholars that are chosen through National Eligibility Test- CSIR, UGC NET, GATE as well as equivalent examsThe selection process through National level examinations conducted by the central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, CUCET, AICTE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
2. Minimum 2 years’ research experience (as of 18.03.2021).

Desirable: Research experience preferred in the field of molecular biology, nano-biotechnology or translational nano-sciences as evidenced by NCBI indexed publications.
