Name of the Project: Bioresource and sustainable livelihoods in North East India.
Age: 28 years, 35 years and 35 years.
Age of the applicant will certainly be reckoned as on date of walk-in-interview. Nevertheless, age is relatable for all the positions as per the Government of India/CSIR instructions.
How to Apply for NBRI Job:
HRA will certainly be admissible according to the sanction of the projects:
a) The Application form will certainly be provided at the venue on the date. Nevertheless, applicants may download the application form ahead of time from the website www.nbri.res.in. At the time of the interview, candidates ought to bring one most current photo, original documents in addition to a self-attested copy of certifications of exams passed (beginning with matriculation), certification indicating the date of birth, caste certification (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and also experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be taken into consideration. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date one hr before the scheduled time for necessary documents verification etc.
b) Mode of Selection: Through Interview. Nonetheless, if a large number of applicants turn up, a Screening test consisting of multiple-choice objective questions may be held for shortlisting the candidates for interview. The shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the Selection Committee as well as, based upon the performance in the interview; a panel of recommended applicants will certainly be formed. The panel will be utilized as and when the requirement arises In the projects in the relevant field/area. Applicants have the option to interact in HindVEnglish prior to the committee. In case of turning up of large no. of applicants, the interview may continue for the following day.
c) The positions are totally short-term on contract basis as well as co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Additionally, the above stipend( s) is tentative as well as the exact same will be finally decided based upon the availability/provision of funds in the relevant sponsored projects.
d) In the case of Universities/Institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., candidates are requested to convert the same into percentage based on the formula as per their
University/Institute.
e) To avoid any type of inconvenience. just those applicants who strictly fulfil the eligibility criteria and have the degree/mark sheet in the aforementioned subjects must turn up for a walk-in-interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible.

For Post I
Stipend: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc (55%) in Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience in handling and running of equipment like IRMS, GCMS, GLC, HPLC etc.
For Post II
Stipend: Rs. 15000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: BSc (55%) in Biochemistry, Microbiology as one of the subject.
For Post III
Stipend: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc (55%) in Botany, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience in the extraction of DNA from fungal/plant materials, knowledge in PCR and phylogenetic/ data analysis.
For Post IV
Stipend:
- For JRF: Rs. 31000/- per month plus HRA
- For Project Associate-I: Rs. 31000/- per month plus HRA
- For Project Associate-I: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job:
For JRF: MSc in Botany/ Plant Science / Biotechnology/ Genetics with CSIR / UGC / ICAR / DBT-NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
For Project Associate-I: M.Sc. (55%) in Botany/ Biotechnology / Genetics / Plant Sciences with CSIR/ UGC / ICAR / DBT -NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
For Project Associate-I: M.Sc. (55%) in one of the above subjects.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Previous experience in plant taxonomy and/or molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
