NOTICE FOR TEMPORARY ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT ASSISTANT

No. CTR&TI/Estt/PA/20-21/

Application is invited for the following purely short-term position FOR Central Silk Board (CSB) funded research project at Central Tasar Research & Training Institute Central Silk Board (CSB), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Nagri, Ranchi – 835303 (Jharkhand). The entitled projects are hereunder:

Name of the Post: Project Assistant

No. of Posts: 01

Name of the Project: “Utilization and diversification of silkworm pupae products for human & animal consumption and composting” (Project Code: BPS01013CN)

Duration: 2 years or end of the project whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: The upper age limitation of Project Assistant will be 25 years as on the date of interview. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/ Women as well as physically challenged candidates as per rule.

These positions are purely temporary as well as the applicants will not be entitled to any claim to any position in the Institute/Organisation. Fellowship:

1. Three years full-time B.Sc. or above Rs.12000/- (Consolidated emoluments/per months (in Rs.)
2. Three years full-time B.Sc. and PGDS Rs.15000/- (Consolidated/per months (in Rs.).

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Food Technology/ Life Sciences/Zoology or equal.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having previous work experience in the area
of Biochemistry/Food Technology will certainly be favoured.
