Title of the Project: Development of Drug-target based assay platforms and Screening against COVID-19.
Age: 30/35 years
* Age limitation for Project Assistant at the level I/II/III/ will be as 28/30/35 years respectively with five years of relaxation for statutory groups and also women.
Duration: The engagement will be originally for six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the period of the tenure of the sponsored project as well as/ or performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be

Job requirement:
- Post I: Cloning and protein expression in heterologous system.
- Post II: Computational simulations of viral and human membrane proteins, computational design of small molecules.
Qualifications:
- Essential: M.Sc/ M.Tech in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ Microbiology or any kind of branch in Life Sciences from Recognized University. Applicants withNET/GATE would be favored based on DST Norms. (ii) Two years’ experience in r & d in industrial as well as academic institutions or science and also technology organizations as well as scientific activities as well as services is essential.
- Desirable experience if any:
Post I: Experience with biochemistry, molecular biology and structural biology.
Post II: Experience with computational simulations of membrane proteins.
