Applications are welcomed for the following posts to work in an NCDIR (ICMR) sponsored project “Identification of Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) syndrome families with breast cancer and their BRCAl & BRCA2 gene mutation profiling in North East Indian population” at Dr B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati. The positions are short-term and on a contractual basis. The appointment will be made originally for one year.

Eligibility: Candidates holding a Master’s degree with 60% aggregate or more [55% for SC/ST] in the subjects of Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology or any other relevant branches of Life sciences. Must have NET/GATE qualification or comparable other national level examinations.
Desirable Qualifications: Applicants having experience in Genetic counselling as well as or molecular biology techniques.
Salary: Rs.31,000 + HRA as admissible
Duration of Appointment: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years solely based on the performance.
For Post I
