Job Purpose: The incumbent will certainly be a part of Protein Sciences group as well as will certainly be responsible for Transient Protein Expression in various expression systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transient expression of mammalian cell culture, insect culture, E.coli culture.
- Understanding as well as designing the experiment, construct design, experience with bioreactors, FACS preferable.
- Protein Purification utilizing AKTA and similar FPLC and Protein Analytical techniques: Gel electrophoresis, Western blot, buffer prep work, documentation etc.
- Follow environment, health, as well as safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace guaranteeing individual and also lab/plant safety.
- Attend training on environment, health, and also safety (EHS) measures imparted company.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Biotechnology or related field.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Sound knowledge in cell biology and Protein purification from various systems.
- Prior experience in mammalian/Insect Cell culture, transient expression, and design of the experiment.
- Good understanding of laboratory practices, quality requirement as well as adhering to safety practices.
Experience: 3-6 Years post qualification.
Behavioural Skills: Good oral, written communication and also presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
