About the Project: The project requires an applicant with knowledge in Enzymology, Viruses and/or structural Biochemistry. It provides learning on basic techniques of Molecular Biology, Cell culture and Protein Biochemistry. The applicant will be encouraged to perform independent research and publish.

and selected applicants will be supposed to join at the Shiv Nadar University at the earliest. Hostel accommodation will be provided to the student upon joining.Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree with 60% marks and Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science/ Protein Chemistry with minimal 60% marks from a recognized university with a minimum of 1 year of research experience. The applicant ought to have cleared GATE, CSIR DBT or ICMR JRF, M.Tech. or any other competitive examination that makes him qualified for the JRF position as defined in Office Memorandum of DST.
Fellowship: Candidates with NET/GATE will qualify as JRFs with an income of Rs. 31,000 + HRA. Applicants without NET/GATE qualification will be appointed as Project Assistant as per the DST standards. It is Desirable: that the candidate has hands-on experience in Protein Filtration and characterisation.
