Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + HRA per month as per institute norms (for NET qualified)
and Rs. 20,000 + HRA per month as per institute norms (Non-NET)

Age: 28 Years. * Relaxation in upper age limitation for SC/ST/OBC/ Women/Physically burdened applicants as per regulations.

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Ecology/ Environmental Science
OR M.Sc. in Remote Sensing & GIS or equivalent with a dissertation in Forestry/Ecology.

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of plant taxonomy and application of RS & GIS in
forestry and ecology

Job Description:

• Undertake an intensive field survey in Alpine regions of Uttarakhand
• Data compilation, synthesis, analysis and preparation of reports
