National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai, is a premier Institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The Institute invites applications from exceptionally Motivated pupils having always good academic record in Modern Biology for registration in Ph.D. programme. The thrust Regions of research include: Fertility Regulation, Infertility and also Reproductive Disorders, HIV/STIs/RTIs, Maternal and Child Health, Immunology and Microbiology, Reproductive cancers, Osteoporosis, Genetic Diseases, Stem Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics and Reproductive Toxicology. The Institute is connected to the University of Mumbai to the award of Ph.D. degree in Applied Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
Who Can Apply:
- Candidates That Are Indian citizen and having Post graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Bioinformatics/ Biophysics or MBBS with 60% or equal Grade Point Average (GPA) from greater secondary (10+2) onwards. Student belonging to reserve category of Maharashtra state just will be Qualified for 5% comfort. If CGPA Isn’t based on 10 point scale candidate must Offer a statement issued from the various University signaling conversion of CGPA to Percentage. Nominees, who have emerged or are appearing for qualifying examination in The academic year 2017-18 and are awaiting results, will also be eligible to apply. Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 15th June 2018 also It’s relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD (individual With handicap ) applicants in addition to girls candidates as per Government of India rules.

Non Fellowship holders will be supplied Institutional fellowship of Rs. 8000/- per month that will Be initiated only after successful completion of cooperation and Ph.D. proposal presentation. It Will be for two years and after these pupils are invited to find fellowship from other financing agencies.
Hostel: Limited hostel facility is readily available for outstation girls candidates chosen for your Ph.D.. programme.
NIRRH reserves the right to alter the minimal eligibility standards in case of receipt of big Number of applications.
