DBT – Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP) 2018-2019

Biotech students can apply for a hands on training programme in biotech companies for a period of six month. DBT – Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP) 2018-2019 official notification is out. Biotech students are encouraged to apply for the training programme announced by DBT India 2018-2019 as per the details given below:

Department of Biotechrology (DBT) invites applications from biotech students for hands on training in biotech companies for a period of six Months and requisitions from the biotech companies for providing training. The programme provides excellent opportunity to biotech students to acql.ire practical skills and experience working on projects alongside industry experts as well as an opportunity to industry to identify potential employees. During the training, stipend @ Rs.10,000/- per month will be paid to trainees and bench fee will be paid to companies to cover expenses towards training, The programme will beimplemenled by Biotech Consortium India.

Biotech companies Interested to provide hands on Industrial training to the students of

biotechnology under BITP may apply online. The companies would have no obligation towards any payments to trainees. For “Requisition Form” please visit www.bcil.nic.in/bitp2018/index.asp. Trainees would be provided to companies subject to availability.

Biotech students interested in training in biotech companies may apply online latest by May 20, 2018. B.E /B.Tech /M.Sc /M.Tech /M.V.Sc./MBA in Biotechnology from Indian recognized universities with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade completed in the year 2017 or 2018 are eligible to apply. Candidates will be selected based on online test followed by interview. Online test would be conducted at centers across the country. How to Apply:

The following documents are to be sent to Mr. Manoj Gupta Manager. Biotech Consortium
India, 5th floor Anuvrat Bhavan, 210, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, New Delhi-110002 by speed post/courier:

a) A demand draft of Rs. 500/- towards non-refundable application lee as per the details on www.bcil.nic.in/bitp2018/index.asp. Please write your application id, name, date of birth and mobile no. on the reverse side of the demand draft
b) Hard copy of the system generated acknowledgement and application form submitted onllne.
c) Self attested copy of final marksheet a the qualifying examination showing the cumulative percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA. For students appearing in the final examination In 2018, filled and signed certificate from Head of the Department on college/university letter head in the format available on our website.
