Post Title : QC Microbiologist
Location : Patalganga, Mumbai, INDIA
The person is responsible for performing sampling of Raw materials and Finished Goods for testing, Microbiological Testing and documentation of Raw material, in process, finished products. He/She must also ensure compliance with ISO, GMP standards. Will work with maintenance and calibration of measuring and testing equipment’s. This position is based in Novozymes’ state of the art production site in Patalganga, Mumbai.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Analysis and releasing results for hygiene, production and other samples.
- Maintenance of microbial cultures and inoculum development related activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO & GMP standards and document as required.
- Maintenance and calibration of measuring and testing equipment belonging to the QC
- Laboratory in coordination with Maintenance Department as required.
Qualifications
- MSc Microbiology/Biotechnology
- 2+ years of Microbiology lab experience in food/pharma industry.
The knowledge of production processes related to fermentation, exposure on water testing
, maintenance of culture organisms and knowledge of microbiological validation will be added advantage.
