Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma from the eligible candidates for
enrolment to Ph.D. (Full time and Part time) programmes various disciplines of the University. The candidates should apply with all the supporting documents.
Ph.D. Programme offered for deferent subjects :- English, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Journalism & Mass Communication, Social Work, Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Applied Geology, Environmental Science, Library & Information Science, Education.
The registration shall be made as per the Ph.D. regulations governing the award of the
Ph.D. The provisional registration process is through an entrance test followed by statutory
procedures prescribed in the Ph.D. regulations. Mere qualifying in the entrance test does not guarantee the provisional registration
Eligibility:
1. Eligibility : Candidates who have secured at least 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognized Universities/Institutions.
2. Foreign nationals are exempted from the entrance test
How to Apply:
The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University website
(www.kuvempu.ac.in). Duly filled application form should be sent to the Chairman of the
concerned department
Application will be issued from 27-11-2017 The last date for submission of the
application shall be 15-12-2017. Incomplete applications and applications do not have required documents will be rejected. The candidates can contact the respective Departments for information about vacancy of seats.
Late applications will not be considered and Fee once paid will not be refunded.
