Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. THSTI is developed as a part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad. THSTI is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into tangible products to improve human health.
Position 1
Name of the post/ Age limit : Research Fellow, 32 Years
Centre : Paediatric Biology Centre (PBC)
Project : Inter-institutional Program for maternal, neonatal and infant science: A translational approach to studying preterm birth (PTB)

Minimum Qualification and experience : M.sc Microbiology / Bioinformatics with minimum two years of research experience
Desirable Qualification & Experience : Experience in functional metagenomics, human microbial ecology will be preferred

Project : Evaluation of available rapid diagnostic tests for cholera

Minimum Qualification and experience : M.sc in Microbiology Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with minimum 6 months of lab experience (relaxable) in Microbiology and/or Molecular biology.
Desirable Qualification & Experience : Passed with first class in Msc
Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-

Project : Understanding the distinct developmental and functional properties of the neonatal immune system and their clinical consequences in the neonatal period.

Desirable Qualification & Experience : Candidates with experience in biochemical and immunological assays will be prefered

Minimum Qualification and experience : Post graduate degree in Life Sciences /biological science / biotechnology / Microbiology / Immunology
Desirable Qualification & Experience : Candidates with experience in handling mycobacterial strains, molecular and cell biology will be preferred.
