Invites Applications for PhD in Science and PhD in Engineering Programmes of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), August 2017 Session
CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute, a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for the above programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.
Eligibility:
PhD (Science): Master’s degree in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology with 7 CGPA or equivalent percentage marks and valid National level fellowship from various funding agencies e.g. CSIR/ UGC/ DST etc. or other equivalent fellowships.
PhD (Engineering): Master’s degree in Ceramic Technology/Engg.; Glass Technology/Engg.; Metallurgical Engg.; Materials Engg.; Chemical Engg.; Nanotechnology; Biotechnology; Electronics and Instrumentation; Optoelectronics with 7 CGPA or equivalent percentage marks and valid NET (Engg) JRF or other equivalent fellowship excluding GATE.
Research scholars currently working at CSIR-CGCRI as Project fellows/ Research Fellows/ Project Assistants/ or equivalent with atleast one year of experience and with good academic record (throughout first division marks) may also apply through proper channel (with Director’s approval) with valid fellowships tenable for the full period of the programme.
