CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), desires to engage qualified incumbents on purely temporary basis as detailed below:
Project Code/Title : (Project Code – MLP1601) “Platform for Genomics and other Omics Technologies for Enabling Medical Decisions (GOMED)”
Position 1
Post Code/ Designation : Post Code-1 Project Assistant-II
Essential Qualification : M.Sc./B.Tech in any branch of Life Sciences/Computational Sciences/ Bioinformatics/I.T. with at least 55% marks
Age Limit : 30 years
Stipend (per month) : Rs. 25,000/- + 30 % HRA per month
Initial Tenure Till : 31-03-17
Position 2
Post Code/ Designation : Post Code-3 Project Assistant-III
Essential Qualification : M.Sc./B. Tech. in any branch of Life Sciences/ Computational Sciences/ Bioinformatics/ I.T. with at least 55% marks and minimum two years of experience. OR M. Tech/MCA in any branch of Life Sciences/ Computational Sciences/ Bioinformatics/ I.T. with at least 55% marks
Age Limit : 35 years
Stipend (per month) : Rs. 25,000/- + 30 % HRA per month
Initial Tenure Till : 31-03-17
Project Code/Title : (Project Code – CLP0026) “Handheld forced oscillation device for improved detection and monitoring
of airway disease”Position 3
Post Code/ Designation : Post Code-4 Project Assistant-III
Essential Qualification : M. Sc. in Biomedical Sciences/ Biotechnology with at least 55% marks and minimum two years relevant experience in Molecular Biology/Immunology/Biochemistry
Age Limit : 35 years
Stipend (per month) : Rs. 25,000/- + 30 % HRA per month
Initial Tenure Till : 31-05-17
Position 4
Post Code/ Designation :Post Code-5 Project Assistant-III
Essential Qualification : M. Tech in Biomedical Sciences/ Biotechnology with at least 55% marks
Desirable: Relevant experience in Molecular Biology/Immunology/Biochemistry
Age Limit : 35 years
Stipend (per month) : Rs. 25,000/- + 30 % HRA per month
Initial Tenure Till : 31-05-17
Age relaxation as per Govt. of India instructions.
Engagement is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency. The duration of the post is initially as mentioned above or till the closing date of the project, whichever is earlier. Tenure may be extendable up to project duration. Contract may be terminated at any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR/IGIB post.
Candidates should note that non-fulfillment of the eligibility criterion will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.

Note: The shortlisted candidates, have to report at 09:00 AM at Mall Road Campus, Delhi – 110007 on the day of interview along with any Photo ID card, (without photo ID card interview will not be conducted). 3 copies of updated signed C. V. (clearly mentioning Date of Birth, Highest Qualification with percentage, Correspondence Address and Email-ID), Dissertation (if any), PhD thesis (if any) and original certificates/Self attested photocopies for verification
