We are pleased to inform you that with the support of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), New Delhi, Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCS&T) and Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Mohali are jointly organizing a
‘Workshop on Bio-Entrepreneurship and Bio-Enterprise Creation’.
- Venue : The workshop will be organized at Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing, C-127, II Floor, Phase-VIII, Industrial Area, SAS Nagar, Mohali-160071
- On Date : September 2nd – 3rd, 2016.
About the Workshop
The key objective of the workshop is to inspire and motivate students, research fellows and young faculty/scientists to pursue entrepreneurship in life-sciences sector. The workshop will include presentations and case-studies by eminent subject-specific experts and successful entrepreneurs for understanding the entrepreneurial pathway. The tentative programme for the workshop is given below.
The participation fee for the workshop is Rs. 1,000/- which includes comprehensive background document on bio-entrepreneurship and bio-enterprise creation, accommodation (for out-station participants) and hospitality arrangements for the registered participant for the durat
ion of the workshop. The participant will make his/her own arrangements to reach the venue of the workshop at Mohali. A certificate of participation will be given to the registered participants.How to Apply :
The number of participants is expected to be about 100 and candidates from Panjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu& Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan are eligible to participate in the workshop at Mohali. Considering the limited availability of seats, registrations will be accepted on first come first serve basis. Depending on the response from the candidates we might have to restrict the number of participants from each university/institute. The registration fee of those candidates whom we are unable to register due to late receipt of fees or limited availability of seats will be returned.
