Role Overview
The Project Technical Support III will contribute to activities related to clinical evaluation of diagnostics. The role involves working on molecular biology, bioinformatics, and validation of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs), along with coordination across multiple research and academic institutions.
Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work
- Perform advanced molecular biology techniques
- Apply bioinformatics knowledge for data analysis
- Support the development and validation of IVDs and reference standards
- Assist in the preparation of guidance documents and protocols
- Coordinate with multiple centers (including IITs and medical colleges)
- Contribute to validation studies and regulatory documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as ISO standards, Drug & Cosmetic Act (1945), and Medical Device Rules (2017)
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree (3 years) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences with 3 years of experience
OR
Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university/institute
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in advanced molecular biology techniques
- Strong knowledge of bioinformatics
- Experience in IVD development and validation
- Familiarity with regulatory documentation and guidance preparation
- Experience in multi-institutional coordination
