Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Scientist II, Field Applications to join our exceptional team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in India. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class organization that is dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities:

Determine customer needs and provide flawless technical support and guidance in field applications on:

• Flow Cytometry platforms (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMS / similar platforms)
• Imaging / Microscope (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMS / Similar platforms)
• Plate readers / washers (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMS / similar Platforms)
• SAMPLE PREPARATION (KINGFISHER extraction systems/ Consumables knowledge)
• Successfully implement and compete in the market by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct training sessions, troubleshoot, and host workshops to educate customers on the use of our products.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers.
• PhD / Master’s degree in a scientific field, preferably in Life Sciences or a related area of study.
• Adequate knowledge of cell biology protocols and antibodies.
• Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in field applications or related roles.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
