Position: Research Intern (Under SERB-SSR Head)

Duration: Two Months (May 2024 – June 2024)

Project: “Molecular basis for the function of protein tyrosine phosphatase SHP2” funded by SERB

Educational Qualifications: Students pursuing M.Sc./M.Tech (Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences) in their first year or Integrated Master’s degree/B.Tech students in their third year are encouraged to apply.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with background knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Molecular Biology, Protein Biochemistry, Structural Biology, and Bioinformatics.

Job Description: The research intern will perform cloning and overexpression of proteins along with bioinformatic analysis.

Emoluments: Rs. 5,000/- per month (Fixed)

Project Investigator: Dr. G. Senthil Kumar, Staff Scientist-IV, Integrated Structural Biology Laboratory

Date of Walk-In-Interview: 02nd May 2024 (Thursday)
