Brief Description about the Project:
Project focus is to develop a low-cost quantitative PCR-based method to detect the cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from blood samples of cancer patients and healthy normal adults. The project aims to develop an algorithm using protein-based biomarkers and cfDNA to monitor remission in cancer patients and also test its ability as a screening tool.
